Peachy Keen Stamp Challenge 16

Peachy Keen Stamp Challenge #16, http://peachykeenstampschallenge.blogspot.com/2009/11/peachy-keen-stamps-challenge-16.html, I made a Christmas Card using the gingerbread faces from my new Winter Faces Assortment pack. LorraineB on the cricut forum has shared some lovely side step cards and I really wanted to make one. I used a couple of cricut cartridges for this project, PDDU, My Community and Christmas Noel. The glitter I used is Martha Stewart's and I really like it a lot. It looks much better in person then in the picture.

Cricut Cardz Challenge #2

Here is my entry for the Cricut Cardz Challenge, http://cricutcardzchallenge.blogspot.com/2009/11/cricut-cardz-challenge-2.html . We had to make a card with a Thanksgiving theme using any cartridge(s) or colors you'd like. I used Wild Cards Cartridge for most of the card. The card shape, Happy Thanksgiving, and the leaves all came from Wild Cards. For the tag I used Plantin Schoolbook. Wild Cards is a really nice cartridge, it has a little bit of everything on it. It is definitely right up there as one of my favorite cartridges. Oh and I forgot to mention, I won the first Cricut Cardz Challenge, it was so exciting!!!

Paper Cutz Challenge #17

I don't have many stamps, but I wanted to test the Bic Mark it markers, so I created this card for the Paper Cutz Challange, http://papercutzchallenge.blogspot.com/. The markers are good for filling in color, not for blending. I have a lot to learn before I start buying Copic markers. I bought the prismacolor pencils and I'm going to try them out with the mineral spirits.

Cricut Cardz Challenge #1

Here is my card I did for the Cricut Cardz Challenge, http://cricutcardzchallenge.blogspot.com/2009/11/cricut-cardz-challenge-1.html. I used the tag feature on the Winter Woodland Cartridge. I stamped Merry Christmas on a cut I did from the Storybook Cartridge. I also used the cuttlebug swiss dots folder on the deer and on one of the layers under Merry Christmas. I added glitter to the deer, but I have to pick up different glue to use for the glitter, I don't like how it came out.

Snow Friends

I received my three seasonal cartridges today from scrappersmusthaves.com, very fast delivery, I ordered them October 28th. Well I just love snow friends, the snowmen are adorable. I made this card pretty quickly so it's not the best but I wanted to try my peachy keen stamps, funshine faces on them and I think they came out cute. The winter faces would be awesome. I hide the cut lines on their faces in Design Studio so I would be able to use the stamps without seeing the lines. Winter Wonderland is from and the Winter Woodland cartridge and the little dog from Paper Pups. The other two cartridges, Very Merry Tags and It's Cold Outside look great too. I can't wait to try them out. Well I hope you enjoy my family of snowmen,

Thanksgiving Day Card

Thanksgiving is coming! I made this card using my new PDDU cartridge, it's my first person. I love this cartridge, I'm definately going to have fun with it. I used my Peachy Keen Everyday Character face stamp on my little pilgram. I love those stamps!! I think the turkey came out pretty cute, I used to make turkeys out of leaves when I was a kid, so I figured I make some cricut leaves and put one together, a much smaller version. I used the leaf from Plantin Schoolbook, I believe I made 17 of them. As the base I used the turkey from PDDU and just kept layering the leaves around it, (you don't see the PDDU turkey exept for the legs). For the face I used a yellow button and added the eyes and a orange triangle for the beak. I like the dimension of it. The Happy Thanksgiving is from Wild Cards Cartridge.

The leaves are a little over 1", both height and width and the size of the turkey came out about 3" x 3".
