Jungle Gift Set - Doodlebug Design Team Project

Here's a cute gift set using one of my favorite collections for kid birthday cards, At the Zoo. It's filled with so many adorable animals, kids just love the cards made using this fun and wild collection.

The toucan is definitely a favorite, I made him into a semi-shaped card using the cut file,(svgsilhouette). The sentiment is from the at the zoo 6x6 paper pad, these come in so handy for my cards.

The box is super simple, I used one from the Silhouette Design Store and cut it out using at the zoo animal crackers paper, added some limeade twine and a sticker from the this and that sticker sheet.

Cottage House Box - Doodlebug Design Team Project

Here's a cute birthday gift box I made using the purple cottage cut file, (svg, silhouette) from the Simply Spring collection. Doodlebug's cutting files are absolutely adorable and make the cutest projects, I just love creating with them.

To jazz up the treat box I used stickers from the simply spring icon sticker sheet and some sprinkles and jewels.

For the sentiment, I used a stamp from Doodlebug's flower girl stamp set layered on top of one of the banners from the simply spring chit chat pack.

Envelope Box Card - Doodlebug Design Team Project

For my Doodlebug project, I created a box card using the flower envelope cut file, (svg, silhouette) and paper from one of my favorite collections Hello. I've wanted to make this project for a while now, I just thought the flowers coming out of the envelope would make such a lovely 3d card.

I used Silhouette Studio and made adjustments so I could turn it into a box card. There is a front, middle and back panel, the liner is the middle which most of the flowers are glued onto, except the few on the front. I really love how it came out and it folds nicely so it can fit into an envelope.

The back has an oval cutout that the friend chit chat fits in, it's popped onto the middle panel. I created all the patterned paper layers using the internal offset in the software.

Simply Spring Gift Set - Doodlebug Design Team Project

I love working with Doodlebug's cut files, they are absolutely the cutest and the Simply Spring collection is one of my all time favorites. It has pretty flowers, adorable kids and darling little bugs. The papers are wonderful, great designs and all the coordinating embellishments are simply delightful.

The bees (svg) are so sweet, though they both would make a great shaped card I chose the one with open wings for my gift set. I added some swimming pool twine, love matte sprinkles, a little flower from the may flowers sprinkles and a sticker from the this and that sheet.

I used a treat box from the silhouette store and made a cutout using the simply spring window flower box, (svg, silhouette). Instead of using the flowers in the cut file I replaced the with some may flowers sprinkles. I decorated the rest of the box using the icon stickers, chit chat, sunny sky clip, and bumblebee twine.

Simply Spring Shaped Cards - Doodlebug Design Team Project

I had so much fun putting these shaped cards together using the new Simply Spring paper collection and cut files. Love all the colorful flowers, adorable little insects and pretty papers!

The cut files come in svg format sold at Lori Whitlock's online store and studio format at the Silhouette Design Store.

For all the cards I used the svg files, laying out my design in silhouette studio business addition so I can save it as an svg to import into cricut design space to cut out on my cricut maker. I created an offset of the whole design this is the base of my shaped card. Sometimes I will mirror up the offset and nudge it down and weld to create the whole card but for very uneven tops I just duplicate the shape and score about a 1/2" down from the top and glue it to the other base piece.

I think this is my favorite, I love this bouquet in jar cut file. Doodlebug's colorful textured cardstock and the pretty plaid paper from simply spring 12 x 12 pack really makes this card pop!

I love this one too, instead of the lavender flowers going up I reversed them to flow down the can and added a couple more flowers to fill in the empty space.

Leprechaun Trap - Doodlebug Design Team Project

St. Patrick's Day is definitely a well celebrated holiday among my family members we are all about wearing green and drinking Guinness!! So I'm always excited for a Doodlebug St. Paddy's collection and Lots o' Luck is simply adorable!!

For my project, I used the gold coin inn svg file, I think this collection is absolutely perfect for this leprechaun trap, I really love how it came out.

I didn't have wood to make the ladder so I just used some of Doodlebug's gold sugar coated cardstock and it really came out great. I cut two pieces 1 1/4" x 6" and scored it down the long way 1/4" four times, then I punched 5 holes an inch apart on each piece. I cut another strip 1 3/4" and rolled up about an inch each piece tightly to glue into each hole to form the ladder rungs.

Since the inn is supposed to be a leprechaun trap and I didn't have a coin I cut out two gold circles and used the gold shamrock sticker instead, also I used the st. patrick's day sticker instead of the sign that comes with the project.

This set using Doodlebug Design French Kiss collection would make a great gift for any occasion throughout the year.

The beautiful bright papers and lovely designs in this collection really made this project pop, it was so much fun to put together!

The poodle sticker from the mini icons sticker sheet was my total inspiration for making this shaped dress card. I used the girl's dress and boys scarf from the french kiss couples svg file to create the dress, just a couple of alterations using silhouette studio.

I love the Ooh La La from the chit chat pack, it was the perfect embellishment for the front of this bag.

French Kiss Gift Set - Doodlebug Design Team Project

Doodlebug's French Kiss is such a fun-loving collection, I love the Paris theme with all the adorable characters and Valentine embellishments though it can be used for so many other occasions. Today I'm sharing a gift set, I love the pop of navy in this collection it's the perfect color for my Eiffel tower.

The box with Eiffel tower is an svg file that was cut out on my cutting machine, I decorated it simply with a couple of stickers and some chunky twine.

I used more cutting files along with French Kiss stickers and an Eiffel tower doodle-pop to create this greeting card scene.

Here's a closer look at the Eiffel tower box with some stickers, stamp doodle-pop and a couple of those adorable baby heart sprinkles, love them!

Polar Pals Winter Cards - Doodlebug Design Team Project

The Seasons Cardstock Value Pack has so many of my favorite Doodlebug collections packed inside it makes it super easy to put together projects throughout the year. There are 50 sheets of double-sided patterned papers with some for the holidays, this is a perfect pack for any crafter.

I used the Polar Pals sheets in the pack along with some polar pals cut files to make these three winter cards.

One of the 4 x 6 cards from the polar pals winter weave paper made a great background for this card. Here's a tip if the lettering you are trying to cut is very small use vinyl after you weed it you can use transfer tape to keep it together and put it on your card.

Print and cut is another great option for small text.

Here I cut out the word winter but did a print and cut for the wishes on the cloud.

You can also get Doodlebug cut files from the Silhouette Design Store, just search under artist for Doodlebug Designs. You can also get the whole Polar Pals svg collection here.

Christmas Town Gift Set - Doodlebug Design Team Project

Here's a little Doodlebug Design's Christmas Town gift set for that special someone who brings you joy and happiness, that Santa in your life. You can fill the mini container with some treats or even a small gift, such a cute way to receive something.

I used a Spellbinders die from the December large die kit to make the card, I love how the special delivery circle from the this and that sticker sheet fit right in there perfectly. The mini can be bought online from here, these are so fun and easy to decorate.

For the card, I used the front and back of the candy cane lane 12 x 12 sheet and the snowflake border from the 12 x 12 berry Christmas. I embellished the card with some pieces from the odds & ends, chit chat and some ladybug and lily white sequins. The card base was cut from lily white textured cardstock.

I cut a piece of 12 x 12 snow days paper 2 5/8" x 10" to wrap the can and matted the border from the berry Christmas sheet on a strip of swimming pool dot-stripe petite print. On the top of the can I used a sticker from the this and that sticker sheet and I added a couple of snowflakes from the festive flurries sprinkles, a tag from the chit chat pack and some bon bon doodle twine. This was such a fun project to make!

Noel Banner - Doodlebug Design Team Project

I've been busy getting my Christmas decorations up and needed a little something on a small section of wall and thought a cute Doodlebug Design Christmas Town Noel banner would be perfect!

To create the banner I used the Christmas town cut file tree with snow file from Lori Whitlock's shop, you can also get these files from the Silhouette Design Store.

For the cardstock I used 12 x 12 sheets of ho ho ho, christmas cookies, snow much fun and lily white textured for the bottom layer.

I decorated the trees with some christmas town odds and ends and christmas assortment sprinkles.

I added some lily white chunky sugar coating glitter to the snow caps on the trees.

For the noel letters I used the lily white skinny cs stickers, I also added some limeade chunky twine bows on each end of the banner.
