Carta Bella Design Team Project - Sew Lovely

Hi everyone, I have a Design Team project from Carta Bella I'd like to share using the beautiful paper collection Sew Lovely.  I loved working with this collection, such great sticker elements and the paper is simply beautiful!!

I thought this sewing basket and sewing form card would make such a lovely gift set.  I love the color combo of this collection, soft with some bold contrasts. like that blue!

The basket is from My Time Made Easy, it's so adorable, fits lots of treats inside!!
I used some Strawberry Cupcake and Tickled With Teal Trendy Twine.

For the card I used Carta Bella's sewing form from the Silhouette Online Store.

I have directions on the Carta Bella Blog on how I made the card.

Have a great day!

All the elements in this paper collection are so pretty, love the birds.

I used some Peppermint Stick Trendy Twine from Annie's Paper Boutique and pink May Arts chevron ribbon which is also from shop.

Carta Bella Homemade With Love Gift Basket

Here's my Carta Bella design team project which was posted on their blog. I used the fantastic paper collection Homemade With Love, such pretty papers, perfect for treat baskets or gifts for the cook!!

I loved putting this together, it's so much fun decorating kraft bags with pretty paper, my favorite.  The bags are from Annie's Paper Boutique, I like to have a bunch of these on hand for my projects.

I had this wire basket and thought it would look awesome lined with a sheet of paper.  I made a cute tag from one of the elements, you can put a to and from on the back.  The Peppermint Icicle Trendy Twine really goes so perfectly with this collection, I also used some Berry.

Just made some belly bands and decorated with elements from the collection.

A fun treat basket using beautiful paper, can't beat that!!
I have a list of supplies used on their blog.

Carta Bella Homemade With Love Teapot

Here's my Carta Bella design team project that's over on their blog today.  I used the pretty Homemade With Love Paper collection!!

The teapot is from Lori Whitlock's shop, it's so cute and makes a lovely little gift box.  I think it goes so well with this collection.  I really enjoyed making this project and using these pretty paper and stickers.

The pretty flowers are from Lori's shop also, but that cute little spoon comes in the paper collection.

I used some Berry Trendy Twine on the spoon and also to tie the bag full of peppermints.  All the other stickers are from the Homemade With Love collection.

Carta Bella Magnetic Christmas Board With Drawer

Here's my new Carta Bella Design Team project, a refinished magnetic board with drawer!!
For my project I had to pick something from the Tis The Season Idea Book that inspired me.
I chose Kandis Smith's Christmas frame, it's beautiful!
I really enjoyed making this project, I bought the piece on clearance from Burlington Coat Factory awhile ago.  The wood was very dark and I really wanted it white so I primed and repainted it, first with black paint then white.  I used So This Is Christmas Collection to decorate, I really love how it came out.

After painting I distressed it with some sandpaper, you can see the black paint showing through.
I cut up some old magnet business cards and glued them on some of the decorative brads from the collection.  You can see they worked nicely to hold up the cards.

The Christmas tree and gift boxes are from Lori Whitlock's store, I love these little presents you can put a couple of small treats inside.
I used Peppermint Stick Trendy Twine for the chipboard ornaments and Holly Berry on the presents.

I just love this whole collection, it's so beautiful.  That gorgeous May Arts ribbon I bought from Sparkly Sweet Craft Notions shop.

Hope you enjoyed this project, It's really a lot of fun to do over wooden pieces with pretty scrapbook paper.

Carta Bella Wooden Christmas Tree

Hi everyone!  I have another Carta Bella project to share with you using
This was inspired by a Christmas tree I saw on pinterest from the made from 2 x 4.
The website is Under My Umbrella, some awesome wooden projects.

I used 4 x 4's in lengths of 12", 10", 8", 6", 4" and another 4" for the bottom truck.
I'm going to place mine on the floor so I wanted the blocks wider then the 2 x 4's.
It can be glued together with wood glue.  I didn't glue mine, it stands over 2' so it's easier to put away  and because of the chuckiness of the wood it doesn't move and stands very nicely.  If you use a 2 x 4's I think it would have to be glued then.

I love this Christmas collection, great colors, patterns and elements.  I kept it pretty simple, just adding some buttons, peppermint stick trendy twine and berries, along with some stickers and chipboard elements from the collection.

I wrapped some pretty shimmery gold ribbon around the bottom tree block.

The star I picked up at Michaels, it's actually a birdhouse, it fit perfectly on top.

The hardest part of this project was picking which patterns from the collection I was going to use, when I had it on the floor either side looked great!

Carta Bella Wildflower Wall Decor

I have two inspirational wall art projects to share with you today using Carta Bella's Wildflower collection.

This is such a pretty paper collection, I really enjoyed working with it.  It's fresh and hip but yet it brought me back in time, I just love it!

The pink and green paper for the background of each canvas looks just like paint strokes. I kept it simple just adding the matted print n cut phrases and element stickers.

The frames are actually 8 1/2" x 11" cardboard kid paint kits that I picked up at the dollar store.  Perfect to cover with pretty pattern paper.  I added a couple of different colors of Trendy Twine and some buttons.  These are going in my craft room.

Carta Bella Cornfield Owl Box

Hi Everyone, I have another Halloween project today over at
using the Happy Haunting collection.
A box filled with a burlap sack of treats.

When I saw the owl in the collection I knew I wanted to make this box from SVGCuts Acorn Autumn since it also has an owl on the front.  Nothing is more scarier at Halloween than a cornfield!!

I sewed the black burlap bag together and put some candies inside and closed it with some Orange Licorice Trendy Twine.

Here's a closer look at the owl, I love all the elements in this collection.

Supplies Used

Carta Bella Happy Haunting

Carta Bella Rough & Tumble Lighthouse

I have a fun new project on the Carta Bella blog today, a lighthouse using the Rough & Tumble Collection.

I love this paper collection, the colors are so rich, even though it has a boyish theme it can be used for so many different projects.  It was perfect for this lighthouse, I wanted that red and white and these papers worked great.

The lighthouse is from Creations by AR, I love that you can put a battery tealight in the top, the bottom part is a box which can be filled with candies, makes such a cute centerpiece for a party.

The elements in this collection are so cute, it covers sea, air and land, something for just about everyone really.  The bow is made of Berry Trendy Twine and I added some red and white cording around the bottom.

I hope you've enjoyed this project, stop by the Carta Bella Blog to see all the wonderful projects made with their awesome paper collections.
