So Much Pun Shaped Cards - Doodlebug Design Team Project

I'd have to say shaped cards are my all time favorite projects to make and Doodlebug's cut files make the most cutest ones ever! The So Much Pun cut files came out recently, you can get these at Lori Whitlock's shop now or the Silhouette Design Store when they are released.

I'm such a big fan of the petite prints and I'm so happy Doodlebug came out with more patterns, I really love the two-tone color prints.

This card was super simple to put together, I used the fries cut file some lemon dot-stripe, bumblebee linen-gingham and cherry dot-stripe petite prints, strawberry, and lily white textured cardstock. I added some chunky glitter on the front fries to give it a sprinkle of salt.

This candy bar cut file is totally adorable such a sweet card. Here I used swimming pool floral-graph, stone gray dot-stripe, kraft dot-stripe, and lily white swiss dots petite prints, some chocolate chiplily white and beetle black textured cardstock. the sprinkles are from the so much pun assortment pack.

To make this shaped card I used the gumball machine cut file, this file would also make a cute shaker card. I used the cherry floral-graph, cherry dot-stripe, lemon dot-stripe, tangerine dot-stripe, swimming pool dot-stripe, blue jean dot-stripe, bubblegum dot-stripe, stone gray dot-stripelily white swiss dots petite prints, lily white and slate gray textured cardstock.

All the speech bubbles are from the so much pun chit chat pack. You can also get all the files in one big collection here.

3D Pumpkin Box - Lori Whitlock Creative Team Project

Hello everyone, I'm so happy fall is right around the corner, it's my favorite season I just love making projects this time of year! Today I'm sharing the 3D Small Pumpkin box I made, it's one of the items in the Kit of the Month for September at Lori's shop, check the product description for details. You can pick up the Silhouette version of the file here.

The paper collection I used is called Celebrate Autumn by Echo Park, it's designed by Lori and I absolutely love it! The orange cardstock and twine are from Doodlebug Design.

The stem comes with layer pieces but I wanted to show more of this burlap paper, it looks so real.

Sentiment sticker is also from the collection. There is also a 3D Large Pumpkin that matches this one, makes a nice set.

Apple Box - Doodlebug Design Team Project

Doodlebug's new petite prints floral-graph and dot-stripe work perfectly for those projects that you want a little more than just a solid color. The petite prints are one of my favorite paper patterns to use and I'm so happy Doodlebug has come out with more patterns!

One of my favorites is the floral-graph, I used the pretty ladybug floral for this apple box from SVGCuts Miss Baker's Classroom collection. I just love this two-toned floral pattern! The base of the apple was cut out using ladybug textured cardstock. For the leaf, I used the citrus dot-stripe layered on grasshopper textured cardstock.

To decorate the box I used some items from the Down on the Farm collection; this and that stickers, odds and ends, chit chat, farm assortment sprinkles and farm friends sprinkles. I scrunched up a lily white mini doily in the center and glued the embellishments to it and glued just the top part to the top of the apple box so it can be opened without a problem. I finished off the apple with some limeade chunky twine.

Acorn Shaped Card

Doodlebug's petite prints are probably my most favorite papers to use for my projects and I'm so thrilled they came out with more patterns. Here's a card I made using a mix of the old and new, the new ones are floral-graph and dot-stripe.

To create the shaped card I used files from Doodlebug's Flea Market collection from Lori Whitlock's shop. I use Silhouette Design Studio Business Edition to made it and export as an SVG to bring into Cricut Design Space so I can then cut it out on my Cricut Maker. Design Studio has so many more feature's to use than Design Space and to me, it's quicker and easier to manipulate files.
