Pocket Shaped Bag - Lori Whitlock Creative Team Project

I love anything denim so when I saw this pocket shaped bag from Lori's shop I knew it was going to be my next project! You can get this bag also from the Silhouette Design Store here.

I wanted to add snowflakes so I used the ones from the Christmas snowflake border edge card, I just did a release compound path took the shapes and added them to the layer and did a make compound path and then I did a duplicate solid layer to cut out in white. You can get that card here in the Silhouette Design Store.

I also added the 3D poinsettia, you can get that here at the Silhouette Design Store. The stitching came out awesome, I love it!

Shadow Box Advent Calendar - Doodlebug Design Team Project

I couldn't wait to decorate this Shadow Box Advent Calendar that I picked up from the Silhouette Online Store with the adorable Doodlebug Christmas Town collection. The calendar comes with 25 triangle boxes and a download card with exclusive designs for your calendar from the Silhouette Design Store.

I decorated the fronts of the boxes with the cardstock from Christmas Town's 12 x 12 paper pack. The numbers are print n cut layered on top of a label cut from ladybug and limeade textured cardstock. To add something to the sides I used some of the happy holly-days, ladybug swiss dot  and thin limeade washi tape.

When all the boxes are removed it reveals the shadow box. I used the sleigh scene that came with the Silhouette download card and cut away what I didn't want in silhouette studio before I cut it out. I decorated with Christmas Town's odds & ends and a banner from the chit chat pack.

I heat embossed white dots for snow on vellum for the back panel, looks so pretty near a window.

Also used lily white cardstock, a piece of ladybug chunky twine and a Christmas sprinkle for the reindeer's nose.

Tree Light - Spellbinders November Large Die Of The Month

Just saw Shari Carroll's video using the Tim Holtz Tree Light Dies and I absolutely love them! I don't have this die set, definitely on my list but I do have the Spellbinders November Large Die of the Month which does have a Christmas Tree Die.

I die cut three sides of the tree and used a 1/2" x 5" strip of cardstock scored down the center of the 1/2" side to join each tree together to form the triangle. I cut off two stars and trimmed off a little from the flaps on the bottom and cut a hole so the top of the tealight could fit in and decorated it with gold glitter washi tape.

Deer Box - Spellbinders November Card and Large Die Club Kit

I just received my first Spellbinders club kit and I'm lovin' it! I chose to subscribe to the Kit & Caboodle Value Club Membership, with this you get the small die, large die and card kit, I think for what you get in the box it's a great value. I really love the Christmas tree box advent calendar you get with the Large Die Kit and the adorable reindeer face die from the Card Kit and together I think they make an adorable treat box.

I added a hole to the flaps on top and tied it closed with some twine and added bells with a tag and stamped a sentiment from the card kit. I had a bunch of scrap cardstock hanging around so I used that instead of what was in the box since this was just a test to see how it would come out. Definitely looking forward to making more of these.

Turkey Favor Box - Lori Whitlock Creative Team Project

Hello there, now that Halloween is over I'm starting to plan for Thanksgiving. I thought this turkey favor box from the November Kit of the Month from Lori' Whitlocks shop would be perfect for the kiddies.

You can get this box also at the Silhouette Design Store here. I used some of Doodlebug Design's Petite Prints and a cute tag from Echo Park's Celebrate Autumn chipboard phrases.

Christmas Ornament - Doodlebug Design Team Project

Christmas is right around the corner so it's time for me to start working on some homemade gifts I like to give each year to some special friends. This year I'll be making some dome ornaments using the new Christmas Town collection.

Doodle-pops are perfect for this project because they already have the that layer look. Here I used the dear friends doodle-pop with some lily white textured cardstock for snow and festive flurry for the background. The dome I bought from amazon, it's half of a 100mm plastic fillable ornaments ball which after it's put together I glued down to a scalloped circle cut from ruby textured cardstock. For the bow and tie at the top I used both chunky and and regular doodlebug twine and the speech bubble is from the christmas town chit chat pack.

The box is a cut file from Lori Whitlock's shop, I used the ornament box disc 4 but altered the inside bottom piece with a half circle so my ornament would fit nice and secure inside the box. For the base of the box I used maple textured cardstock and layered the top and bottom with the front and back of the merry hearts. I used some stickers from the this and that and icon sticker sheets and a banner from the christmas town chit chat pack.
