With Loads of Love - Spellbinders

Hello there, it's so nice to be back in my craft room making projects again, it's been too long. I'm in the process of going through many of my paper collections and kits and I'm determined to work with what I have for many of my upcoming projects. For the card below I used paper and diecuts from Spellbinders January 2019 card kit You're My Type

I cut out a bunch of 1" squares from the patterned papers and glued them down to a piece of copy paper, stamped the stitching, and then used a heart die to cut it out. I frayed the paper around the heart to give it a distressed look. Super simple quick card!

Christmas Tree Card - Spellbinders

I can't believe how quickly the summer is flying by, next thing you know the kids will be back in school. I really haven't worked too much on craft projects this summer, but I did want to get at least one Christmas in July project accomplished. I used Spellbinder's June Small Die of the Month to create a Christmas tree along with some embellishments from the November 2018 Card Kit of the Month. There are so many things you can do with these dies, I think my next will be a try at a peacock.

Cherish - Spellbinders January Club Kit

I'm so happy to have a snow day today it gave me a chance to make something with my Spellbinders January Large Die and Card Kit of the month supplies. I believe my February one will be here sometime this week so I definitely wanted to get something made from this past one.

I absolutely love the papers in the card kit and this small flower print is one of my favorites, the colors are so pretty. I wanted to match the grey-green of the print so I used ice spruce distress ink with a background stamp from My Creative Time. The patterned paper, sentiment, and sequins are all from the card kit and the die cuts are from the large die of the month.

For You - Spellbinders December 2018 Card Kit

Well, it's the last day of December 2018 and I'm finally getting to play with Spellbinders card kit. I made a quick and simple card, I think this would be great for a guy. I used a couple of stamps in the kit to create the top background paper.

Christmas Town Gift Set - Doodlebug Design Team Project

Here's a little Doodlebug Design's Christmas Town gift set for that special someone who brings you joy and happiness, that Santa in your life. You can fill the mini container with some treats or even a small gift, such a cute way to receive something.

I used a Spellbinders die from the December large die kit to make the card, I love how the special delivery circle from the this and that sticker sheet fit right in there perfectly. The mini can be bought online from here, these are so fun and easy to decorate.

For the card, I used the front and back of the candy cane lane 12 x 12 sheet and the snowflake border from the 12 x 12 berry Christmas. I embellished the card with some pieces from the odds & ends, chit chat and some ladybug and lily white sequins. The card base was cut from lily white textured cardstock.

I cut a piece of 12 x 12 snow days paper 2 5/8" x 10" to wrap the can and matted the border from the berry Christmas sheet on a strip of swimming pool dot-stripe petite print. On the top of the can I used a sticker from the this and that sticker sheet and I added a couple of snowflakes from the festive flurries sprinkles, a tag from the chit chat pack and some bon bon doodle twine. This was such a fun project to make!

Tree Light - Spellbinders November Large Die Of The Month

Just saw Shari Carroll's video using the Tim Holtz Tree Light Dies and I absolutely love them! I don't have this die set, definitely on my list but I do have the Spellbinders November Large Die of the Month which does have a Christmas Tree Die.

I die cut three sides of the tree and used a 1/2" x 5" strip of cardstock scored down the center of the 1/2" side to join each tree together to form the triangle. I cut off two stars and trimmed off a little from the flaps on the bottom and cut a hole so the top of the tealight could fit in and decorated it with gold glitter washi tape.

Deer Box - Spellbinders November Card and Large Die Club Kit

I just received my first Spellbinders club kit and I'm lovin' it! I chose to subscribe to the Kit & Caboodle Value Club Membership, with this you get the small die, large die and card kit, I think for what you get in the box it's a great value. I really love the Christmas tree box advent calendar you get with the Large Die Kit and the adorable reindeer face die from the Card Kit and together I think they make an adorable treat box.

I added a hole to the flaps on top and tied it closed with some twine and added bells with a tag and stamped a sentiment from the card kit. I had a bunch of scrap cardstock hanging around so I used that instead of what was in the box since this was just a test to see how it would come out. Definitely looking forward to making more of these.
