Halloween Record Album Notecard

Hello, I've been reorganizing my craft supplies, and boy do I have so much. There are so many stamps and dies that I haven't even used yet. A lot of these items were must-haves for me at the time so I thought, so I'm really going to try to cut back on stamps and dies and use my cutting machine. My biggest problem is watching YouTube videos of Design Team members making adorable projects with these stamps and dies. Like I just watched one of Concord and 9th's using their Greatest Hits Dies and I almost went to order it but instead, I looked in the Silhouette Design Store which I'm a member of, and sure enough, a couple came up. I ended up using the one from Lori Whitlock called Record Library Card.

I just wanted to use the record alone as the insert so I trimmed down the top of the cover and didn't use the piece that the record attaches to. Why I love some dies so much is the fact they add nice embossing features to them and I wanted the rings that go around the record so I offset a bunch of circles and used the cutting machine to score them on black-white core cardstock, I think my Cameo 4 did a good job.

Here is the record inside the holder, I used white cardstock on the back so I can use it as a notecard. The paper I used is one of Doodlebug Design's older collections Booville, twine is from Annies Paper Boutique Grape Limeade and the Monster Mash is a Miss Kate's Cuttables which I thought was perfect for this Halloween record album!

Reindeer With Lights Christmas Card - PKS Face Day!

Hi Everyone!!  Here's my Peachy Keen Face Day project I'm sharing over on their blog today!
I used the eyes and mouth from the PK-1435 Fall Face Parts Medium set to create this cute reindeer.

This set is so perfect for cards, I'm very happy Kathy made this set in two other sizes also, Large and X-Large.  They are great for treat boxes, scrapbooking and home decor projects.

The sentiment, musical notes and diamonds are all from the PKSC-31 July 2014, the stamps in this set are so adorable, great for your Holiday cards.

I created the background using some Versamark on the PK-1381 Polka Dot Background stamp and heat embossing with some Pearl White powder.  I used a blender tool and added the Stormy Sky Distress Ink.

The Reindeer with Lights is from Miss Kate Cuttables, the Cloud Speech Bubble was created using one of My Creative Time's Dies and the background with stitching is from Jaded Blossom Card Mat Dies.

Have a wonderful day!!

Oh So Lovely - Miss Kate Cuttables Guest Designer!

Hi everyone!!  I'm so excited to be guest designing today for Miss Kate Cuttables.  From the moment I saw these adorable cut files I totally fell in love with them.  The layering on these files make them so easy to go together and the highlights are awesome.

Miss Kate's files go so well with Peachy Keen Stamps, that's the combo I used on my card.

I love owls they're so adorable!!  You can get this one from the Owl Always Love You - Girl set.  The sun is in the Cute Butterfly set, I just added the element from Echo Park's Splendid Sunshine, the paper is also from that collection.  The cute Peachy Keen face stamp is from the Chickie Face Assortment pack.

Hope you enjoyed my card, thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!!

Happy Birthday - Jaded Blossom Guest Designer

Hi everyone!!  Todays my last day as guest designer over at Jaded Blossom.
It was so much fun working with Michelle, Candace and the wonderful JB Design Team.

Here's my project some print n cut Birthday cards.

I like to have on hand a bunch of cards with no sentiments so I can pull one out and easily stamp a sentiment as needed.  I don't always have the time to create cards so these come in very handy.  On these I used the new stamp set So Many Birthdays, you will love all the different fonts of Happy Birthdays in this set.

All graphics are from Miss Kate Cuttables, I used the png version.  I like some of the graphic cut off so I place it hanging off the edge on a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" rectangle, then select both and crop.  Now the graphic will fit perfectly on an A2 card, you just have to line it up on the bottom and side edges.

Have a wonderful day!!

PaperHaus Magazine By The Sea

I was so excited to have my By The Sea project published in the summer edition of PaperHaus Magazine.  There's so many wonderful projects in the magazine, make sure you check it out.

For the frame I used SVGCuts Sew Crafty kit, it's my go to for shadow box frames, I just fold the flaps inside, enlarge the front piece and glue it to the inside of the frame.

The elements I used to decorate are from Miss Kate Cuttables, I combined two different sets, Anchors Aweigh and By The Sea.

And of course I had to use some Nautical Trendy Twine to complete my project!!

Bee Mine

This bee is today's freebie over at Miss Kate Cuttables, I thought it was so adorable I just had to make a card with it.  All the other cuts on the card are from Miss Kates also except the Bee Mine, banner and dashes coming from the bee, I created them in SSDE.  A touch of Trendy Twine Valentine Cherry Cupcake on the banner finishes it up!

Snow Much!!

I'm lovin' this penguin cut set that I purchased at Miss Kate Cuttables, it's just so cute.  She has adorable cutting files, perfect for a card lover like myself!!  The digital paper is Wintertime from Echo Park and I used some Holly Green Trendy Twine.
