Down On The Farm Cards - Doodlebug Design Team Project

Down on the Farm is by far one of my all-time favorite Doodlebug collections. The farm animals are totally adorable and the papers are just darling.

A lot of times I like to create scenes for my cards and this collection made it so easy to put these together. There's a good assortment of sentiments so you can come up with cards for all kinds of occasions.

The pocket paper from the red bandana sheet is adorable, I knew I wanted to cut out one of the pockets and have a farm animal popping out with flowers. The buffalo check paper was perfect for my shirt theme, love that paper! The pig, fly and flowers are from the odds & ends pack and speech bubble and sentiment is from the chit chat set. The buttons are from the beetle black boutique button pack.

The flower side of the counting sheep paper is so pretty, it makes such a nice hill of flowers for my scene. This card is made up of more odds & ends and chit chat speech bubble. The top paper on the card is from the rainbow swiss dot petite print assortment pack.

The country garden paper has pretty flowers on one side and this fantastic wood grain board pattern on the other, for the bottom part of the card I used the woodgrain horsin' around sheet. For the rest of the card I used odds & endschit chats and a couple of worms from the hens & chicks shaped sprinkles.

Happy St. Patrick's Day - Doodlebug Design Team Project

Happy St. Patrick's Day! One of my favorite holidays, good food, and drinks with the company of my family and friends, telling old stories and creating new ones, so fun! Well, today I have this cute Irish wall decor project to share with you using some Doodlebug Design products.

To create the slats I used one of the side pieces of the wooden crate from Lori Whitlock's shop. These are perfect for any 3D sign, I resized one making sure the words and cut files would fit and then duplicated twice. I also made two smaller ones for the back which holds the three slats together.

To decorate I used some of the petite prints, grasshopper daisy-stripe, lily-white swiss dot and mandarin gingham-grid for the top layer of the slats. The letters used are from the Abigail limeade sticker set, I totally forgot to add the apostrophe but I've since added it. 🙂

All the cut files are from the Happy Go Lucky Bundle, you can get this bundle from Lori Whitlock's shop.

The rest of Doodlebug supplies used are - Tangerine Daisy Stripe - Limeade Gingham Grid - Marigold Textured Cardstock - Beetle Black Textured Cardstock - Lily White Textured Cardstock - Cupcake Textured Cardstock - Lily White Sprinkles

Hope you have a Healthy and Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Slainte Banner - Doodlebug Design Team Project

St. Patrick's Day is such a fun holiday in my family, we love to celebrate with good eats, drink and of course decorations! Through the years I've accumulated quite a collection but I always like to make something new.

This year I created this Slainte banner, using the top hat from the Happy Go Lucky Bundle from Lori Whitlock's shop. I uploaded the svg file to Cricut design space and resized it so a 1 1/2" scalloped circle would fit nicely on the hat.

This way I could use the limeade abigail stickers which fit perfectly on the scalloped circles.

Some of the other Doodlebug supplies I used - 12 x 12 Spring Things paper - Grasshopper Daisy-Stripe Petite Print - Bubblebee Texture Cardstock - Lily White Textured Cardstock - Beetle Black Textured Cardstock - Lily White Sprinkles - Doodlebug Limeade Twine.

Missing You - Lori Whitlock Lace Tree Card

Here's a quick and simple card using the lace 5 x 5 tree card cut file from Lori's shop. I think this is such a pretty cut design, I used a piece of burlap for a neutral look but a pop of color would look great also or even a white embossed background. The sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp's Handwritten Floral Greetings set and tags are from My Creative Time. The card was cut out on my Cricut Maker.
