Holiday Wishes To Warm Your Heart And Home

Here's another card using Unity's Snowflake Kisses stamps to create the background.  I love all the snowflakes in this set.  The diecut snowflake and sentiment is from Jaded Blossom and the wood grain background is from Stampin Up.

For the background paper I stamped and embossed the snowflakes and then stamped the Hardwood background stamp over them with Lawn Fawn's Walnet ink.  I sponged the whole card front with Distress Gathered Twigs and cleaned off the snowflakes with a paper towel, I love how the snowflakes look on the woodgrain background.

If Kisses Were Like Snowflakes...

After seeing all the beautiful snowflake cards using Catherine Pooler's new kit Stamp of Approval Holiday, I was inspired to look through my stash of stamps.  I really wanted to pick up the kit but at this time I just can't, so I found this beautiful set I had purchase a couple of years ago from Unity Stamps called Snowflake Kisses.

I stamped some of the snowflakes and sentiment in versamark on white cardstock and embossed.  I used some Distress Ink to sponge the background and then stamped a couple of more snowflakes in Lawn Fawn Mermaid Ink.  I added a couple of snowflake sequins I bought at Michaels and mounted the card base on a 5 x 7 card.  The one flourish came from another Unity set.

Cutting Felt with the Fiskars Fuse

The Fiskars Fuse does an awesome job stamping and cutting on felt.  I used the mini flower die with the mini expansion set and for the leaves I used the wing from the bird die.  I haven't tried the butterfly or bigger flower, they are only suppose to be for cardstock, so I don't think they will work, the ones with the black foam are for cutting other materials.
Fiskars recommends fabric topped ink pads, I used mementos and they work very well.  A black fiskars ink pad came with the machine and it works great, I'll order more when HSN gets them back in stock.

The stamp sentiment is from Unity Stamps Lasting Thoughts set, which is only $13 right now.  On all three of the buttons I used some Lemon Tart Trendy Twine.  Paper is from My Mind's Eye Miss Caroline pad.
I think I'll be making many more of these felt flowers and leaves, need to pick up more felt in some pretty colors!!

To My Love, A Valentine's Day Card!

A quick card using a Peachy Keen face stamp, Wide Eyed and Bushy Tailed and the stamp die and letterpress plate from the Fiskars Fuse.  The stamp sentiment is from Unity's November 2012 KOTM.  The cute little raccoon is from the Silhouette Online Store and for the heart diecuts I used the stitched heart dies from My Creative Time.

As The Clock Strikes 12...

I finally had time to make a card using my new Christmas present the Fiskars Fuse Creativity System.  I really love it, the platform is large so you can run a whole 12 x 12 sheet of paper through.  No more cutting down pieces, plus the letterpress look is so cool, definitely going to have fun playing with this.
For this card I used the Curvy Square die and clock letterpress plate with silver ink and then I used silver embossed powder with some glitter after pressing.  The stamp sentiment is from Unity's November 2012 KOTM set.  Paper is some old scraps, thought it went well with the clock.

Moose Kisses

I received my Jaded Blossom stamps in the mail today and just had to use the freebie Moose Kisses, so cute.  The Christmas pnc moose is from the Silhouette Online Store, it's one of Stinkin' Cute Paper Piercing. If you haven't seen Trendy Twine's new Christmas colors check them out, I used the Christmas Mint, twists of red, white and lime, so pretty!
The bag is a regular size brown lunch bag, I just stamped some white snowflakes from Unity's Season of Joy set, simple, I love this look.

Candy Cane Treat Holder

I picked up The Big Candy Cane stamp from Unity and made this candy cane holder for it.  I thought it would look so cute on the tree or great for school treats or even work.  The sentiment is also a Unity Stamp from the August 2012 KOTM. I used Trendy Twine's Candy Cane and the cute little buttons are from Buttons Galore and More.

Love is in the pages of our Story...

Unity's Decemeber 2012 KOTM is such a beautiful kit, it's called Everyday Fairtale, it's definitely one of my favorites.  I've used this stamp before and truly love it and the sentiment is just so pretty.

I wanted a little change of pace from all the fall and Halloween colors, plus I'm practicing with my gel sticks, so much fun coloring with these.  I added some ribbon a little bit of Grape Fizz Trendy Twine and a cute rosette button from Buttons Galore and More.  I love the softness, it would make a great wedding card.

Unity Halloween Treat Bags

I'm lovin' these treat holders made using the bag from Unity Stamps July 2012 KOTM.  Lindsey from The Frugal Crafter has a great video using another bag stamp creating Christmas gift card holders, what a wonderful idea!!  If  you add the ribbon on top these will also hold a gift card but I put some peppermint patties inside for Halloween.

The stamps used on the front are from Unity's Too Cute To Spook set and I used some Orange Licorice Trendy Twine for the handles.  The ribbon is just some white seam binding I quickly dyed using some distress ink.

I stamped 3 on one piece of 8 1/2" x 11" kraft cardstock and then cut them apart.

I scored on the bottom of the bag and then from that score I went in 3/8" and scored and then another 3/8" and scored.

Holding the bag together I cut around the top and both sides, you don't have to be so precise just ink the edges after.  Punch two holes and use ribbon or twine for your handles, you can also add tissue paper like Lindsey did in her video.  Definitely check out her youtube channel, she has so many wonderful videos.
