Dragon Tails - Doodlebug Design Team Projects

Hello!  Here's my Doodlebug design team projects using the Dragon Tails collection.  This is definitely one of my favorites, I love all the adorable dragons and the vikings are so cute!

My first project is a set that includes a boat which is filled with chocolate kisses and a matching birthday card.

I made the base of the boat using the head and tail from one of the Dragon Tails cut files from the silhouette store, you can also purchase these files for your Cricut, ScanNCut or any other machine that accepts svg files from Lori Whitlock's shop here.  The sail and shields are also cut files.  The two vikings are from the odds and ends pack, banner is from the this and that sticker sheet and also the hip hip hooray mini garland.  I used toothpicks and a die to created the little oars.

I used some of the icon stickers and a couple of stars from the balloon sprinkles pack on this birthday card.  I love the cobblestone paper and those clouds, so awesome!

Here's a birthday card and gift card holder set, I really like to make these a lot because I give them out so often.

These matching treat bags make the best gift card pouches.  I dressed it up with some balloon sprinkles, a mini doodle-pop and boy twine.  The happy birthday band is from the dragon dots paper, I added the little dragon clip on the gift card slide out.

I wanted this dragon from the odds and ends pack jumping out of a box so I cutout one of the present cut files.  Also used the mini garland again, I really love this garland!

This dragon's breath paper is totally awesome, I had to make a card with it.  I used this burst die so it would look like the flames from the doodle-pops dragon was filling up the sky, just added a couple of the clouds from the odds and ends pack in the center.  Party time is from the this and that stickers and I used some of the matte birthday boy sprinkles.

Fairy Tales Birthday - Doodlebug Design Team Project

Hello, I have some Doodlebug birthday projects to share using the new Fairy Tales Collection.  What a fun happy collection this is, the unicorns are so adorable and so is everything else!!  I can't wait to make some projects with the cut files.

I made a shaker card using a rainbow of doodlebug sequins and some beads, since the sticker is on top of the acetate I put a generous amount inside so it would shake really good.  I used a bag from the Silhouette Design Store and added the rainbow and clouds from the odds and ends pack to create the handle.  All the stickers are from the icon sticker sheet.

That background paper is so cute, it has a little bit of everything in the collection on it.  This saying is so sweet, I think everyday should be a rainbow and unicorn kind of day!

The green and polka dot paper is from the rainbow swiss dot petite print assortment pack.

The cupcake box is from the Silhouette Design Store and the birthday hat card is a die from My Creative Time.

I added a couple of the birthday girl glitter sprinkles and one of the rainbow heart sprinkles.  The twine is from the bright twine pack which has 6 different colors.

Another twine color from the bright pack, more glitter sprinkles and a cupcake boutique button.

I actually make this really quick using a die from My Creative Time because I just love this paper so much.  All those colorful happy balloons bunched together, it's so adorable!!

I hope you've enjoyed these projects, thanks so much for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

Sending Birthday Hugs - My Creative Time Tag It Tuesday

Hello, welcome to Tag It Tuesday!  For my tag today I used some shimmery watercolor paints I bought at Michaels, you can't really see the shine in the photo but I was quite impressed.  They are the Niji Pearlescent Watercolor Set, very inexpensive, I believe I paid $4.00 with a coupon.  I really like the coverage over the kraft cardstock.

Hello - My Creative Time Trending Now Stitched

Hello! Welcome to MCT's Trending Now Thursday.  We had to make a project using some kind of stitching.  My sewing machine right now is in the attic so it's faux stitching for me, lol!  I used the In Stitches Die to create this background on plain white cardstock and then used the Big Hello Die.

Washi Storage and More - Doodlebug Design Team Project

Hello, I'm up over at the Doodlebug Blog today sharing how I store my washi tape and some embellishments.  I use these three storage solutions for my doodlebug embellishments, but my main excitement is how I now store my washi tape.

I found this storage organizer from CraftStack at Michaels and boy do I love it!!  This thing can hold a ton of washi tape and it's stackable.

As you can see I have more than just washi tape inside, you can use it for other craft embellishments.  I like keeping all my Doodlebug supplies together so this works well for me.

It's so nice to be able see and get to my washi so easily now, I didn't use it very much before because it was all stuffed in a drawer, not easy to see what I had.

I was actually going to buy some empty spice jars to fill with my doodlebug buttons, clips, brads and clothespins but these washi containers fit in there beautifully, love to reuse what I have and I like them so much better then the jars.

I also use it for my doodlebug sequins, beads and glitter, love all those pretty colors.  Those clear containers I found at the Dollar Tree, two fit the back row nicely, they came 10 to a pack.  I added the memento dew drop ink pads just so you can see how they fit in there, I'll be picking up another organizer just for them since I have a bunch.  It's awesome how the drawers pull out and tip down so if you have it on a little higher shelf you can still see everything in there.

My doodlebug twine, sprinkles, bags, etc I keep in this Recollections Carousel from Michaels.  I'm not sure if they still carry the clip and spin that fits it but I really like it for my twine I leave it right on the cardboard.  I don't use the second ring except sometimes I'll clip a card on it if it needs to dry.

All my doodlebug doilies are kept on this Clip Carousel from Tim Holtz, it's not really big but it fits a lot, I have plenty of room on this to fit much more.

Well I hope you've enjoyed some of my doodlebug craft storage ideas, thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!
