Santa Label & Gift Bag - Lori Whitlock Creative Team Project

Hello everyone! I don’t always have the time to put together a bunch of Christmas tags so print and cut really comes in handy for me and these adorable Lori Whitlock Santa Labels (SVG, Silhouette) are going on all my grandchildren’s packages. I also needed a small gift bag so I cut out the Gift Bag 2 (SVG, Silhouette) and made this super simple and quick gift package!

Christmas in July - Tags

Hello All, I'm so happy to be back crafting again, I've cleared up my craft room and organized my supplies so I'm ready to make some fun projects again. Today is the last day of July and I wanted to get something done for Christmas in July and I always need a ton of tags for Christmas so that's what I made. These tags are from Lori Whitlock's shop, they are super simple to put together. 

 The tags I used are the Christmas Tag Snowman, Santa Claus, Polar Bear, and Penguin, so super cute for the kids.

Christmas Tags - My Creative Time Inspire Me Wednesday

Hello, I didn't get to participate in MCT's Black Friday hop because my youngest son got married the Saturday after Thanksgiving and we were all in Pennsylvania celebrating!! So for my inspirational project for today I'm going to use the Cute Snowflake and Cute Snowman Gift Tags dies.

I love these gift tag dies, they are so adorable and fun to make! The sentiments are from the Mini Christmas Greetings set. Designer paper is Echo Park's A Perfect Winter by Lori Whitlock.

The Sweet Candy Cane is so adorable, I used it here as a tag, with a couple of dies, cute bow, boughs of holly and a sentiment and tag from the chunky jar accessories set.

Christmas Tags with Twine Stitching - Doodlebug Design Team Project

Hello, I have a couple of Doodlebug Design Christmas tags to share with you today. For this Stitched Twine Challenge, I used a couple of cutting files from the Here Comes Santa Claus collection, you can get this from the Silhouette Online Store or Lori Whitlock's Online Shop in svg format.

I used three of the here comes santa claus ornament cut files and made cutouts for each tag using my Silhouette Cameo. Silhouette Studio has a nice rhinestone feature, I used that to create the holes for my stitches, size 1 spacing .2 worked perfectly for me.

The tags have three layers, top with the cutout and stitching on the gingham, patterned paper for the middle and a shadow layer using textured cardstock.

For the stitching, I used a simple back stitch and on the chunky twine I knotted and frayed the ends.

The little tags were printed then cut with my Cameo, which I layered onto another tag cut from silver sprinkles vellum.

Sending Birthday Hugs - My Creative Time Tag It Tuesday

Hello, welcome to Tag It Tuesday!  For my tag today I used some shimmery watercolor paints I bought at Michaels, you can't really see the shine in the photo but I was quite impressed.  They are the Niji Pearlescent Watercolor Set, very inexpensive, I believe I paid $4.00 with a coupon.  I really like the coverage over the kraft cardstock.

I made this quick and easy tag using kraft cardstock with a border of glitter paper under a piece of patterned paper.  Love the look of white embossing powder on kraft, it's so pretty.

Doodlebug Design Christmas Tags

Well Christmas will be here before you know it so I'm spending some time getting my tags done.  I like to make most of my tags print n cut since they are quick and easy but adorable.  I'm so happy that Doodlebug Designs now have their cute designs in svg.  It's awesome Lori Whitlock is selling them in her store, I love how these are already put together so I don't have to do it, makes print n cut so much easier.  Here's a couple I've done so far using the Here Comes Santa Claus Collection.  The designs are also in the Silhouette Online Store.

I just print n cut the face of the tags and then cut out the tops and background layered with Doodlebug's Here Comes Santa Claus Petite Prints.  These tags are from Lori Whitlock's shop also.

Here's a close up of one of the tags, I like to put a black outline around the images using .75 in Silhouette Studio Designer Edition.  These are super easy to make!
