Polar Pals Winter Cards - Doodlebug Design Team Project

The Seasons Cardstock Value Pack has so many of my favorite Doodlebug collections packed inside it makes it super easy to put together projects throughout the year. There are 50 sheets of double-sided patterned papers with some for the holidays, this is a perfect pack for any crafter.

I used the Polar Pals sheets in the pack along with some polar pals cut files to make these three winter cards.

One of the 4 x 6 cards from the polar pals winter weave paper made a great background for this card. Here's a tip if the lettering you are trying to cut is very small use vinyl after you weed it you can use transfer tape to keep it together and put it on your card.

Print and cut is another great option for small text.

Here I cut out the word winter but did a print and cut for the wishes on the cloud.

You can also get Doodlebug cut files from the Silhouette Design Store, just search under artist for Doodlebug Designs. You can also get the whole Polar Pals svg collection here.

Winter Gift Set - Lori Whitlock Design Team Project

Hello, I have a cute winter gift set to share today featuring the A2 Snowman Card and the Tall Christmas Tree Box from Lori Whitlock's Shop. I'm using this set as a thank you for a friend but it would make a cute set for any winter occasion.

You can get both of these files also from the Silhouette Design Store, A2 Snowman Card and the Tall Christmas Tree Box. I used the svg from Lori's store so I could cut them out on my cricut maker.

I made the card thinner so the snowman would better match the one on the tall box. I used paper from Echo Park's A Perfect Winter designed by Lori along with frames and tags, decorate brads and enamel dots from the collection.

I just did a release compound path to get rid of the Christmas tree and resized the snowman to fit on the front layer. This is such a cute box, it was perfect for the makeup items I put inside.

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!!

I want to thank you all, MCT has one of the best fans, you all have been so awesome to me and I've appreciated the great support you all have given these past couple of years. I'll still be around though, I want to work more with my cutting machines, there is just not enough time in a day, I keep telling my husband my job really gets in the way of my craft time, lol!

You Warm My Heart Bendi Card

I can't believe I haven't made one of these bendi cards before, I'm addicted now!!  This one is from the Dreaming Tree, I combined two from the Christmas Bendi Cards bundle.  I used pieces from the Believe and the Ode To Joy, you can also buy these cards separately.

For the roof I got a file from the Silhouette store and the snow on top was created using the bottom front snow layer.  I put two windows together to create the door and the one puffy snow is Marvy Liquid Applique.  The stamped images and sentiment is from Simon Says Stamps Peace Love and Joy set.  The brick paper is from Carta Bella's True Friends collection.

My Creative Time 49th Release Blog Hop!

Welcome to My Creative Time's 49th Release Blog Hop!
What a fun release this has been, thank you all for your wonderful comments all week!
For my hop project I'm showcasing the
"Stitched Pop-Up Pieces" Dies

How fun are these, I used the bigger one twice for the snowpeople and the smaller one in the middle for the Christmas Tree.  I'm so happy to have these, unless I plan a popup card out in SSDE I won't make one, but these dies make it so easy.  Other sets I used to make this card are the Snowbuddies stamps and Winter Snowman Dies.  The sentiment is from the You're So Cool set and tree is from the Seasonal Greetings set.  The background was created using the snowflakes from It's A Magical Season set, embossed with white embossing powder and use some of the blues Distress Ink.  I added a couple of Winter Flakes Dies and sequins.

Here's a closer look, I also used the Stitched Belly Band Dies, love that set, it's a must have I feel.

For the front I used elements from the same sets I mentioned above, I had put the card together first and thought the front needed some snowflakes and messed up on some stamping too lightly and then I tried to fix, next time I'd add the snowflakes first.

Our "Freebie" for this release is this ADORABLE "Hi Sweetie" stamp & die set. It will be given to the FIRST 150 shoppers! If you are one of the 1st 150 shoppers it will be automatically added to your package at the time of packaging/shipping. Once 150 shoppers come through, this stamp & die set will be available for purchase. So, if it’s for sale in the store, you are not one of the 150. No exceptions will be made. This freebie set is not a part of the “bundle” and will be sold separately!

Celebrate The Season - SVG Cutting Files Tree and Squirrel

Hi everyone!
I have a cute card to share with you today
using the new Tree and Squirrel file from SVG Cutting Files.
This svg will be available in the store tomorrow.

I wanted to make a winter scene with it so I used gray tones for the tree.  I really love this tree could look nice as a family tree in a frame, may have to do one.  The squirrel is adorable, I cut it out on my Brother ScanNCut2 and added a peachy keen face.  I used the Arched Top Card Base and made it a little bigger then the standard A2 card.  The sentiment is from My Creative Time's Holiday Tags set.

Have a wonderful day!

Snowbuddies Are The Best - My Creative Time Trending Now PeekABoo Card

Hi Everyone!
I have a My Creative Time Trending Now project to share.
It's a Peek-A-Boo Slider Card using the adorable Snowbuddies!

This really was very simple to make and so much fun to put together!  I started with the largest rectangle die from the Stitched Rectangular Dies to cutout my designer paper card front.  Then I used the scalloped die in the Fun Vertical Greetings set to make the cutout in the middle of my card front more towards the right side.  I cutout some layers with one of the Fun Stitched Edges for the snow and glued them down.  I cutout a strip of paper about 1 1/4" from the same designer paper for my pullout and added the Stitched Tab Die on the left side.  On the back of the designer paper I added two strips of foam tape on the sides of the cutout, they are the guide for the pull strip, make sure it glides easily between the tape.  The snowman is glued down on the card front and the snowgirl is attached to the slider piece so she can move freely.  I put pop dots right on the edge where I wanted the end piece to stop and then added her.  She also has a pop dot under her arm so when she slides and hits the snowman's arm she stops.  I hope this makes sense, lol, I know my rambling is making it sound harder then what it is, if you search youtube.com you'll find a bunch.

Before I put everything together I lined up the top layer to the base and stamped my sentiment.
