Valentine's Day Gift Bag - Dreaming Tree

This is the adorable Festive Holiday Tote from Dreaming Tree, I didn't get a chance to make it for Christmas so I thought Valentine's Day was just as good. I love the design of this bag, it's so perfect and can be used for any occasion.

Valentine's Globe Shaker Card - Dreaming Tree

Since I die-cut all these little hearts for yesterday's project I figured I'd make another shaker using Dreaming Tree's Snow Globe Shaker Card. This card is also available in a bundle called Winter Warm Wishes which has two other projects. All I did here was change up the colors and added a stamped sentiment for Valentine's Day.

Cherry Latte Valentine's Day Card - Dreaming Tree

Sharing a Valentine's Day card today using Dreaming Tree's Pumpkin Spice Shaker Card. I didn't get a chance to make this card in the fall but I thought it would make a cute card for Valentine's day, just changing up a few things. I thought a cherry latte would be perfect! The sentiment and heart die cut is an older set from My Creative Time.

Clematis Treat Bag - Dreaming Tree

I download this adorable svg treat bag freebie over at the Dreaming Tree Store and I just love it! There is a layer for the flower that goes underneath the black outline but I did a release compound path to the outline in Silhouette Studio so I could color each individual piece and inlay them into the outline once it was glued onto the bag. I used distress inks and sprayed with some water and did the same to the bag for a worn tattered look.

Corset Treat Box - Dreaming Tree

Hello and welcome!
I have a treat box to share using some files from the Dreaming Tree.  I kept looking at the Hearts Bouquet Vase from the Hugs & Kisses Bundle and seeing a corset, so I figure I'd give it a try.

For the front I used the scalloped heart from the Love Hut Mailbox and the half heart doors.  The trim for the laces I made in SSDE.  I trimmed the top of the box so it fit better.

Presents & Peppermint - Dreaming Tree

Hello!  Have you see Dreaming Tree's new bundle Merry and Bright Gift Boxes, totally love.  I can't wait to make that peppermint box, but first I had to make this peppermint shaped card.

Probably one of my favorite things to make at Christmas time, anything peppermint.  I duplicated the larger of the red panels rotate it and than lined it up and welded together in SSDE.  For the ends I used the top piece and snow from the Tree Treat Box.  I created a card base which is the gray piece sticking out on the ends, the white pattern piece goes over that and than the red pattern piece.  Patterned Paper is from Doodlebug Design.

What until you see the tree opened up!

Hi Pumpkin Bendi Card - Dreaming Tree

Hello, I love making these cards from the Dreaming Tree's Christmas Bendi Cards SVG Bundle , probably one of my favorite kind of cards.  This one is the the Believe Bendi which I modified with a Autumn theme using some Doodlebug Design Paper and elements from the Flea Market Collection.

I cutoff the snowman and smoothed out the hill, I knew I wanted the fox there.  I took some of Doodlebug svg trees and welded them over the pine trees on the back layer.  I cutoff the believe emblem at the top and smoothed that out also, really wanted the focus to be more on the scene.  All editing was done in an older version of SSDE and saved as an svg and cutout on my Brother ScanNCut2, though I don't use my Silhouette a lot I still like to edit in their software.

World Card Making Day 2016

Hello and Welcome!
It's World Card Making Day, I try and make a couple of cards this day each year.
I'm going to add a card to this post each time I manage to get one done.
For my first I dusted off my Brother ScanNCut 2 since I haven't used it in awhile and made this card using some files from the Dreaming Tree!

I love this adorable witch hat and shoes from the Dreaming Tree's Monster Bash Bundle, it's from the banner, I just resized it to fit a card.  The bat's are from the Spooky Coffin Freebie.  The sentiment is from My Creative Time's Happy Haunting's set.

The next two cards I used my Simon Says Stamp October Kit of the Month.

Father's Day Skimmer Hat Treat Box - Dreaming Tree

Hey there, I have a cute 3D project to share!  I used the hat from Dreaming Tree's Daffodilly Spring Bundle and dressed it up like a barber quartet skimmer hat for Father's Day.  This would also be adorable for the Fourth of July.

I had this burlap paper in my stash, I believe it came from a paper pad from Michaels.  The stars, banner and sentiment are all from My Creative Things.

I also resized the hat files smaller so this project isn't as large as the hat in the file.

Here's the box opened with some red, white and blue candy treats!

Fangtastic Day - Dreaming Tree King Of The Castle Card

Hello everyone!  I've been wanting to make this Halloween castle card from Dreaming Tree's new bundle King of the Castle.  There are three wonderful projects in this kit great for many occasions, I just love Halloween so I had to make mine up as Bran Castle.

The stamps and dies are from My Creative Time, Too Cute To Spook and Wicked Fun.  I used some embossing folders on the castle to create that textured look and inked it up with some distress ink.  Just a fun spooky project!!

Baby Shower Umbrella Treat Centerpiece - Dreaming Tree

I've wanted to make this project since the Dreaming Tree release the
Daffodilly Spring SVG Bundle.  I absolutely love all three of the projects in this bundle, which also can be bought separately.  My Son and Daughter in law are having a baby boy so this is perfect!

I left off the top of the Egg to make it look more like an umbrella and just used the daffodil inside as the handle and added a blue bow.  I didn't join the rosette together, I left a hole in the center so I could glue the umbrella tilted, it sat better this way.

The paper collection I used is an older one by Carta Bella Paper Baby Mine Boy, it's so cute.

Cascade Mother's Day Card - Dreaming Tree

Dreaming Tree came out with a new bundle this week, Cascade Cards.  Three beautiful cards come in the bundle designed for a wedding but can be used for so many occasions.  I made the Lily Card for Mother's Day and I love how it came out.

I doubled up the flowers and added a solid darker one behind to give it some shadows and cut out the background ones in green for leaves.  The paper is from Michael's, not sure of the name and the sentiment is from My Creative Time's Love You Bunches set.

Ears To You - Bunny Fry Box

I love this cute sentiment from My Creative Time's Ears To You set, one of my favorites. I've already used it on a paper bag I made for the release, but I wanted to use it again on this bunny fry box I made from the Dreaming Trees Heart Treat Box freebie.

Once I trimmed the top of the hearts in SSDE to look more like ears I added a cutout in the center so you could see the jellybeans inside.  I also created some basic shapes for the inside of the ears and feet, a super simple box to put together.

Lucky Rocker Card

Here's a Rocker card I made using some of the files from the Dreaming Tree's new bundle Luck Of The Irish.  I altered the top gold piece svg from the Lucky Coin Box and created a mirror image so I had two pieces for a front and back.  I added a flap and some score lines on one of the pieces so I could glue them together to form the card.  I also created a top layer with a strip on the bottom of the lucky so I could cut that out in gold cardstock.  The shamrock is one of the cutout pieces from the top gold piece svg.  The sentiment is from My Creative Time's Your My Lucky Charms set.

Father's Day Trophy - Dreaming Tree's Luck Of The Irish Bundle

Dreaming Tree release it's new bundle Luck Of The Irish and it has the sweetest coffee mug inside. Besides St. Paddy's day it could be used for so many different occasions.  I added another handle to create this adorable trophy for a Father's Day gift package!

I altered the base from the Love Hut Mailbox to create the base for the trophy.  For the woodgrain pattern I used Heidi Swapps background stamp on some kraft cardstock and darkened it with Walnut Distress Ink.  The gold and white cardstock is from a paper stack from Michaels, super cheap and the gold accent pieces were cut from some metallic poster board from the Dollar Store.  The diamond shape in the middle is from one of the Floral Gate Fold Card.  The whole project was cut using my Brother ScanNCut2, except for a couple of metal dies used.

Here's a closer look, the Father's Day Sentiment is a Peachy Keen Stamp and the label is the Stitched Oval Die from My Creative Time.

Here's a look at the whole Luck Of The Irish Bundle!

Believe - Dreaming Tree Gatefold Card

Made this card from the Dreaming Tree's new Gatefold Cards bundle, you can also buy these seperately but I always love the bundles.  I wanted to get this posted and didn't have a chance to take a photo of the inside, but check out the store, they are very pretty cards.

I added the gold belly band and the tag and believe diecuts are both from My Creative Time's Holidays Tags set.  I used MCT Build A Scripty stamp for the background on the flowers.  All the pieces were cutout using my Brother ScanNCut2.

You Touched My Heart Bendi Card

I love this rose from the Dreaming Tree's I Love You Banner svg, it's beautiful and cuts out awesome.  I wanted to make a Valentine's Day card using it so I combined a couple of the bundles to create this.

For the bendi card base I used the Silent Night Bendi Card, cutting off the deer, children and snowman and welding the rose from the banner and the heart from the Heart Fan Box, which I can't wait to make, it's gorgeous! For the wood layers I used Stampin Up's Hardwood Background Stamp and the sentiments are from My Creative Time's Belly Band Sentiments and You Touched My Heart Set.  These bendi cards are so much fun to make and they look so nice on display.

Home Sweet Home Bendi Card

Yesterday I made a bendi card from the Dreaming Tree, this is the spring version.  I used the same two cards from the Christmas Bendi Cards bundle, Believe and the Ode To Joy.  The sentiment is from Sunny Studio's Happy Home Stamp Set.

You Warm My Heart Bendi Card

I can't believe I haven't made one of these bendi cards before, I'm addicted now!!  This one is from the Dreaming Tree, I combined two from the Christmas Bendi Cards bundle.  I used pieces from the Believe and the Ode To Joy, you can also buy these cards separately.

For the roof I got a file from the Silhouette store and the snow on top was created using the bottom front snow layer.  I put two windows together to create the door and the one puffy snow is Marvy Liquid Applique.  The stamped images and sentiment is from Simon Says Stamps Peace Love and Joy set.  The brick paper is from Carta Bella's True Friends collection.

Be Mine - Heart Treat Fry Box

Here's a quick project using the Dreaming Tree's heart treat fry box freebie.  Such a cute file and so easy to put together.  The paper I used is Hugs and Kisses by Simple Stories.  The stitched heart die and be mine sentiment are both from My Creative Time.
