Fall Wreath Card

Hello there, the card I'm sharing today almost ended up in the garbage a good couple of times. The fall wreath which is from the Silhouette Design Store would be better suited for a scrapbook page or If I ever use it again I'd thicken the lines a little, I had pieces breaking off and it wasn't that small of a cut I put it on a 5 x 5 piece of cardstock. But in the end, I like how it turned out, it's very rustic. The Fall Banner is also from the Silhouette store. For the background, I used peacock feathers distress oxide ink with a Tim Holtz stencil called splatters.

Lori Whitlock November 2021 Creative Team Blog Hop - Stacked Books

Welcome to our November Hop! After removing my Halloween decor from my tiered tray I needed to fill it in with some more fall items and I wanted a set of the stacked books that is extremely popular right now so I used Lori's book box file (SVG, Silhouette) to create mine.

I also used two leaves from the leaf cluster set (SVG, Silhouette) using distress ink and crinkling them to make them look real. I used My Favorite Things Buffalo Background stamp on solid color cardstock with inks from the same color family for that tone on tone look. For the words, I used vinyl, using transfer tape makes it so much easier to put on.

3D Pumpkin Box - Lori Whitlock Creative Team Project

Hello everyone, I'm so happy fall is right around the corner, it's my favorite season I just love making projects this time of year! Today I'm sharing the 3D Small Pumpkin box I made, it's one of the items in the Kit of the Month for September at Lori's shop, check the product description for details. You can pick up the Silhouette version of the file here.

The paper collection I used is called Celebrate Autumn by Echo Park, it's designed by Lori and I absolutely love it! The orange cardstock and twine are from Doodlebug Design.

The stem comes with layer pieces but I wanted to show more of this burlap paper, it looks so real.

Sentiment sticker is also from the collection. There is also a 3D Large Pumpkin that matches this one, makes a nice set.

Apple Box - Doodlebug Design Team Project

Doodlebug's new petite prints floral-graph and dot-stripe work perfectly for those projects that you want a little more than just a solid color. The petite prints are one of my favorite paper patterns to use and I'm so happy Doodlebug has come out with more patterns!

One of my favorites is the floral-graph, I used the pretty ladybug floral for this apple box from SVGCuts Miss Baker's Classroom collection. I just love this two-toned floral pattern! The base of the apple was cut out using ladybug textured cardstock. For the leaf, I used the citrus dot-stripe layered on grasshopper textured cardstock.

To decorate the box I used some items from the Down on the Farm collection; this and that stickers, odds and ends, chit chat, farm assortment sprinkles and farm friends sprinkles. I scrunched up a lily white mini doily in the center and glued the embellishments to it and glued just the top part to the top of the apple box so it can be opened without a problem. I finished off the apple with some limeade chunky twine.

Acorn Shaped Card

Doodlebug's petite prints are probably my most favorite papers to use for my projects and I'm so thrilled they came out with more patterns. Here's a card I made using a mix of the old and new, the new ones are floral-graph and dot-stripe.

To create the shaped card I used files from Doodlebug's Flea Market collection from Lori Whitlock's shop. I use Silhouette Design Studio Business Edition to made it and export as an SVG to bring into Cricut Design Space so I can then cut it out on my Cricut Maker. Design Studio has so many more feature's to use than Design Space and to me, it's quicker and easier to manipulate files.

3D Space Backpack - Doodlebug Design Team Project

Here's a cool 3D backpack project I made decorated with Doodlebug Design's new So Much Pun Collection. With school starting here soon this would make a great gift for a student or teacher and what makes it that much cuter is this super fun space paper and embellishments. What I love about this collection the most is the versatility, there is definitely something in it for everyone and for all occasions!

This was a fun project to put together, I used the backpack from svgcuts back to school kit and cut it out using my cricut maker. It was hard choosing what paper I was going to use but that little out of this world doodle pop alien with moon and stars won me over, so space it was.

I used perfect combo, and the front and back of far out from the 12 x 12 paper collection. The speech bubble is from the so much pun chit chat pack and the base of the bag is sunshine textured cardstock.

The enamel stars are from the out of this world shape sprinkles pack and I used a blue jean boutique button with some boy twine on the latch.

I'm always looking for ways to use Doodlebug's adorable washi tape and I think the out of this world washi worked perfectly layered on top of the straps.

Thankful Picture Frame - Doodlebug Design Team Project

Hello there, I have a cute picture frame to share with you today that I made for my Doodlebug Design Thankful Challenge. There are so many things I'm thankful for and this little guy, my grandson is high on that list, he's an absolute treasure.

I used one of my favorite Doodlebug collections, Flea Market to create this frame! It's put together with cut files from the flea market collection, these are svg files from Lori Whitlock's shop that I cut out with my Cricut Maker but you can also get these files from the Silhouette Design Store. I'll list all the flea market cut files used below.

These adorable eyes on the crow are from the eye candy sprinkles pack, the eyes on both mice are also from this same pack. All the flea market pattern paper used is from the 6 x 6 pack except for the pumpkin which is merry maples from the 12 x 12 pack. Other paper used, lily white and stone gray from the rainbow gingham-linen petite pack, beetle black dot-grid petite print and bon bon textured cardstock.

The letters are from the bumblebee teensy type cs stickers pack which just happen to fit perfectly on my banner without measuring, lucky me! The little acorn is a sticker from the flea market icon sheet and the brads are mini antique brass, love these! I also used three matte sprinkles from the zoo assortment pack on the pumpkin.

You can get all the flea market svg files in one collection or separately - sunflower - pumpkins - mice - crows - box of apples - a list of flea market cut files from the Silhouette Design Store can be found here.
