Valentine's Day Cards - Silhouette Design Store

Here's a couple of Valentine's Day cards using some files from the Silhouette Design Store.

I thought this penguin (#342206) was so adorable, I print and cut the balloons, sweater and hat and cut out the rest of the penguin and colored with alcohol markers. for the background I used watercolors and stenciled snowflakes with Pearl Lustre Gilding Polish.

I made a card using the candy jar (#21842) and the bow from the jar of hearts (#292740), altering it slightly. I print and cut the conversation hearts (#429177) and the label with Happy Valentine's Day (#392081).

Little Wildflower Seed Packs - Silhouette Success Challenge

Here's my Silhouette Success Week 3 Challenge for September. This challenge was to use this weeks freebie at the Silhouette Design Store little wildflower. I made some digital paper and then cut out these seed pack envelopes. Just another way to use a design you may not have used otherwise.

Silhouette Success Challenge

Hello there, I've been trying to get myself motivated to craft again and I think a challenge is exactly what I need right now. Over at Silhouette Success's Facebook group, the challenge is to use this week's free design from the Silhouette Design Store and no new craft supplies, just the supplies you have already. Here is a link to this week's freebie Thinking of You.

It's a very simple card, I probably wouldn't have downloaded the design but the challenge inspired me to make something with it. This is what I came up with, just made slight changes to it. I'm pretty happy with the end result.

Lori Whitlock January 2022 Creative Team Blog Hop - Hippo Birthday Card

Hello, welcome to the January 2022 hop! When I saw the Hip Hip Hooray from Echo Park's Birthday Boy collections I knew I wanted to pair it with the Bobble Head Valentine Hippo to make a birthday card, (SVG, Silhouette). To make the hippo blend in better with the animal stickers from the collection I created an internal offset of the hippo pieces and did a print and cut. This is such a cute collection designed by Lori.

Lori Whitlock December 2021 Creative Team Blog Hop - Hot Cocoa and Cookies

Hello Everyone, welcome to our Blog Hop! Today I have a cute project to share using one of the new 3D Hot Cocoa Mugs, I used the plain one here (SVG, Silhouette) but there is a bunch of different designs you can get individually or in a bundle at Lori's shop here. I also used the 3D Cookies for Santa file (SVG, Silhouette). For the sign I enlarged it so I could use the Menu from Echo Park's Christmas Magic Collection, the paper and elements I used here are all from that collection.

I cut the cookies on my Silhouette Cameo 4 from white fun foam which I inked and used white and red glitter, they really look like real cookies so cute!

I didn't use the whipped cream for the top of the mug, I made marshmallows out of clay and added steam using vellum from another of Lori's files, Hot Cocoa, (SVG, Silhouette). I also used the Christmas Tree Swirl to look like a froth design on top, (SVG, Silhouette). The mug can be filled with some treats to make a nice gift, I'm going to add it to my tiered tray.

Sleigh Poinsettia Box Card - Lori Whitlock Creative Team Project

Hello everyone!! Here's a project I created using one of Lori Whitlock's new sleigh box cards that she came out with recently, not only are they adorable they are super simple to put together. I made the sleigh poinsettia (SVG, Silhouette) one and used paper and a couple of stickers from the lovely The First Noel Collection by Echo Park. The file comes with a Merry Christmas printable sentiment but I used a sentiment sticker from the collection instead.

Project was cut out using my Silhouette Cameo 4.

3D Witch Boot For Tiered Tray - Lori Whitlock Creative Team Project

Hello everyone, I love decorating for Halloween, it's right up there with Christmas for me so I'm always looking for cutting machine projects that can be used for decor and this 3D Witch Boot (SVG, Silhouette) was the perfect addition for my tiered tray.

It went together flawlessly just took my time gluing the seams doing little sections. I absolutely love how it came out!!

The design of this boot is super cute, it's such a unique treat box.  I resized the file down about an inch which was a perfect fit for my tiered tray. I crinkled up a strip of the paper and glued it to the inside top of the boot to make it look like fabric sticking out.

The paper and embellishments used are from Echo Park's Halloween Magic collection which is designed by Lori, love all the cute frames, tags, and ephemera pieces. The project was cut out using my Silhouette Cameo 4.

Fall Camping Backpack Gift Box - Lori Whitlock

Hello everyone, I have a tutorial over at Lori Whitlock's blog today on how I put this cute Camping Backpack (SVG, Silhouette) together. I just thought this was the cutest box and would make a nice Fall gift with hot chocolate and marshmallows inside.

The designer paper and embellishments are all from Echo Park's My Favorite Fall Collection. This was such a fun and easy project to put together!

Bunny Petal Box for Easter

I love to make these kinds of boxes they are super simple and so fast to put together you can get a bunch done in no time. This one is a Lori Whitlock cut file which you can get at the silhouette store here or at her store in SVG format here. I added the googly eyes and popped up the nose for a more 3d look and added a hoppy easter sentiment using a pen in my Silhouette Cameo 4.

Valentine Slimline Shaker Card

I saw this adorable slimline heart background die from Whimsy Stamps but unfortunately, it is sold out. I definitely want to still pick it up because I love stitching but I used a heart background from the Silhouette Design Store to make one similar and used it for my shaker card below.

I really love how it came out, I used some vellum under the heart background and filled the inside with some heart-shaped cutouts using the confetti hearts die from Prima. The cute snow fox is from Doodlebug Design you can get that either in the Silhouette Design Store here or Lori Whitlock's shop here. The balloon is also from Doodlebug, I did a print and cut on my Cameo 4.

Valentine's A2 Box Card - Lori Whitlock Cut File

It's been a while since I've done any kind of crafting and I've truly missed it. Felt so good to spend some time working on a couple of things, forgot just how relaxing it is.

I'm determined to only use scrap pieces of paper until I can get this pile I've created down, it's amazing how much you can accumulate.

I used a cut file called A2 Box Card Mailbox Hearts from Lori Whitlock using my Silhouette Cameo 4. The patterned paper is from Doodlebug and used my alcohol markers to color white textured cardstock for the hearts.
