Happy Holidays - My Monthly Hero Kit

Here's another card I made using Hero Art's New My Monthly Hero kit, this one is for the Holiday Cardmaking Challenge.  It was available for a limited time, I'm so happy I bought this one, I love the poinsettias.

I'm also lovin' these new Next Level Embossing Folders I bought by We R Memory Keepsers, I used one of the quilted ones for the red layer.

I received my Hero Arts My Monthly Hero Kit and I just had to make a quick card with these pretty layered poinsettias.  Totally love them and the little ink pads that come with this set, takes the guessing out of picking what inks to use for the different layers.  The kit also comes with the dies to cutout the flowers and leaves.  This kit sold out quick but because of the problems with the website you can still order until Sunday October 11 at midnight Pacific time.

I found this foil at the dollar store and wanted to give it a try, it's thin but it doesn't tear easily so it's not bad, love a bargain!  I also received my WRMK embossing folders, this one is Gemstone, these are great, not like regular folders, very unique.  The band and label are both from My Creative Time's Stitched Belly Band dies.

Sleepy Hollow's Headless Horseman!

I love Sleepy Hallow, both the movie and the tv show, so I was so excited to create something with this svg.  I thought a treat bag would be cute, so I created one from the Bag of Chips Slide Card, makes a nice Halloween treat bag.  I have to make that chip card it's just too cute!  The sentiment is from Jaded Blossom's Halloween Treat set and the label diecut is from the Mini Tag Dies 2 dies.  Patterned Paper is Carta Bella's All Hallow's Eve.

Thanks For Lifting My Spirits - My Creative Time Thoughtful Thursday

Hello and welcome to Thoughtful Thursday from My Creative Time!

For my project today I wanted to create an uplifting card

to hopefully put a smile on a special someones face.

We can all use a thoughtful card from time to time!

Well I think the perfect set for this is The Sky Is The Limit Stamp Set, the sentiments are perfect and I just love the hot air balloon.  I made a shaker card with the balloon on the inside and the Fun Stitched Clouds and a vellum banner on the outside.  The sentiment is stamped with versamark and embossed with white embossing powder on the Stitched Fun Ticket die.  For the shaker cutout I used one of the Bunch of Fun Circle Dies and the wood designer paper was cutout with one of the Stitched Rectangular Frame dies.
