Envelope Mini Album

Over on the Cricut messageboard Pinkbuggielvr did a envelope mini album that is absolutely beautiful. I went to check out the video on how to make it and ended up YouTube video hopping. Well, I ended up at another envelope mini album so I decided to try that one. Though I'm going to try the one that Pinkbuggielvr made. I used regular dollar store no: 10 envelopes folded in half. Here is the link to the video, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QsRqOQ5gN4Q&feature=fvw. I didn't cut the tops of the envelopes, I just glued them inside. Also my pages are a little different, my envelopes had a big opening in the front. I really like this idea of using envelopes. This album is for my puppy Freckles, I'm not finished with it yet, have to embellish the inside and add pictures of him. Also I like the pockets, I'll keep his vet info and little tidbits in the pockets. I created tags so I could put info about him on them.

The flower is wrapping paper that I put mod podge on and it kind of looks like leather snake's skin. It's pretty cool looking in person.

For the tags I used Sweet Treats Cartridge and for the enclosure I used Fabulous Finds.

Oh and this is Freckles, my spoiled little love!

  1. Hello Brigit, I love your envelope book. I have been wanting to make one but I didn't know what to use it for. My friend just got a puppy so thanks for the idea of making it for a furry friend. Give Freckles a hug!:)
