Bokeh Butterfly

I saw this really cool technique over at Splitcoaststampers by Linda Fiedler, it's called Bokeh Background.  Linda's came out so beautiful, I'll have to practice some more, I'm really love it, she has a video so hop on over and check it out.

I used a gel stick, distress ink and archival black on this one.  Some Aqua Midnight Trendy Twine here.

This was my first and I used a gel stick and stampin up ink on this one.  I like the one above better.  The butterfly and sentiment are both Unity Stamps and I used some In the Navy Trendy Twine.

  1. Brigit, Both cards are beautiful. I was surprised to see that you follow the FrugalCrafter too. I seem to follow a lot of the same sites you do, like Unity stamps, SVGCuts (especially) but I cant do a fraction the stuff you do. Always beautiful!

  2. Thanks so much Carolyn, I love stamps but I have a tendency to stare at them and not make things, lol. It's so funny I can take a cut file and make about anything but stamping intimidates me totally!! I love The Frugal Crafter's videos, very inspirational!!
