There are a couple videos out on replacing your glue bottle caps with baby bottle nipples because they are silicone and the glue doesn't stick to it. Such a great idea, the only thing I didn't like about it is you have to use foam tape and some people said it came off when they used it and they had a mess. I figured I'd give it a try anyhow, well I saw the Plaid Silicone Finger Caps I really never used in a compartment on my craft lamp and thought these are silicone maybe they will work. I'm happy to report they work awesome, I just poked a hole in the top with a small pin and the glue comes out great, plus you don't need foam tape they fit nice and snug. I had an old glossy accent bottle I wasn't using because it was totally clogged, just cut off the top and added the cap it works beautifully.
It does fit over the Scotch Quick Dry Glue also, I buy the 8oz bottle of Lineco Neutral pH Adhesive and fill a smaller bottle, I like this glue better myself. I've been using this cap for around a month now and totally love it, you get a small bead of glue and you can spread it with the tip without clogging. Also no more cap to get lost, I'm so guilty of losing it while crafting, I love not worrying about putting one on anymore. When you go to use it just squeeze the top the dry glue that seals it comes right off and it's ready to use. If you try it I'd love to here how it works for you!!
