Thinking About You - Lawn Fawn Goodies

Hi Everyone!

I receive some more Lawn Fawn goodies today to add to my growing collection.  I'm lovin' the Snowy Backdrop die, I kept going back and forth about buying it and I'm so happy I did.  Cutting machines just don't give you the nice cuts like dies do with backgrounds like this.

I wanted to use the background with something else besides a snowy card so I mad a northern night scene and used the Bon Voyage Stamp Set.

I'm entering this in the current Lawnscaping Challenge which the theme is Thinking about you so I used the sentiment from the Scripty Sayings set.  The moon is from the Silhouette Store, I cut out all my pieces with my Brother ScanNCut 2, I love using this machine to cut out my stamps too!  This card is longer then the background die so I let the paper overlap the cutting plate and cut, then I matched it up and cut again.

Snowbuddies Are The Best - My Creative Time Trending Now PeekABoo Card

Hi Everyone!

I have a My Creative Time Trending Now project to share.

It's a Peek-A-Boo Slider Card using the adorable Snowbuddies!

This really was very simple to make and so much fun to put together!  I started with the largest rectangle die from the Stitched Rectangular Dies to cutout my designer paper card front.  Then I used the scalloped die in the Fun Vertical Greetings set to make the cutout in the middle of my card front more towards the right side.  I cutout some layers with one of the Fun Stitched Edges for the snow and glued them down.  I cutout a strip of paper about 1 1/4" from the same designer paper for my pullout and added the Stitched Tab Die on the left side.  On the back of the designer paper I added two strips of foam tape on the sides of the cutout, they are the guide for the pull strip, make sure it glides easily between the tape.  The snowman is glued down on the card front and the snowgirl is attached to the slider piece so she can move freely.  I put pop dots right on the edge where I wanted the end piece to stop and then added her.  She also has a pop dot under her arm so when she slides and hits the snowman's arm she stops.  I hope this makes sense, lol, I know my rambling is making it sound harder then what it is, if you search youtube.com you'll find a bunch.

Before I put everything together I lined up the top layer to the base and stamped my sentiment.

Joy Gift Card Holder - My Creative Time Made In Minutes

Hi everyone!

It's Made in Minutes over at My Creative Time today so I have a quick and easy project to share with you.  I have older boys so gift cards are very popular in my family and I love to use the Embossed Gift Card Holder Die for my cards.  I kept this one pretty plain and simple but it still with a festive look and feel.  That burlap looking paper is from Michaels and I just love it, one of my favorites.
