Skeleton in a Jar!

I seen this cool skeleton in a jar on Pinterest and thought the Apothecary jar from SVG Cuts kit Toil and Trouble would be perfect.  I had a skeleton from the dollar store already so I just cut it up.

The tickets are stamps from Unity and paper is from Echo Park's Chillingsworth Manor, the clear is a transparency sheet.

Here is the website with the original skeleton in a jar, Inspiring Pretty, check it out there are other great Halloween decorations over there!!

Remember this kit is free this week with a $9.98 purchase, it's a $6.99 value, what a great deal!

Linda the plastic is a transparency sheet, it's about the same weight as medium cardstock.

  5. Does anybody have another idea for the the plastic? I went to staples to buy the transparencies and the thicker ones (and yes I sat there and felt how thick the different ones were) cost $69 for 50 sheets. I about fell over at the price. I love this project and would like tomake it, but I wasn't paying that.

  6. Danielle that's a lot, check Michaels, ACMoore or Hobby Lobby and make sure they are bigger sheets because the cut for the jar is bigger then 8 1/2x 11.

  7. Here is a video link, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=869gK0icqa8 to someone cutting .007 craft plastic on the eclips, looks almost like the same weight that I used. Should be able to get 12x12 sheets at Michaels.

  8. Great! Thanks. I looked on Joann's website and there was some but didn't want to order not knowing if they would work. But knowing how thick the sheets are helps too.
