SVG Cuts 12 Days of Christmas Day 2

So today is Day Two of SVG Cuts 12 Days of Christmas and they are giving away 12 spools of Trendy Twine, so awesome!!  Since I started buying Trendy Twine there hasn't been too many projects that I don't use it on, I love it!  It just always seems to add the perfect touch and I have built up a pretty good collection so far.

So my tag for day two is focused on Trendy Twine and I used Posy a pretty light pink and cream color that worked just perfectly with these ice skates I created using SVG Cut's files.

The skate is from the Give a Gift Card kit, I created the top and the lace pieces, I had seen a pair of vintage ice skates and I wanted to try and replicate the photo.  I embossed the blades with silver and rubbed a little black soot distress ink to dull it a little.  The holly is from Comet's Candy Land collection and the pattern paper is Carta Bella's Winter Fun!  I just love how the Trendy Twine just pulled the whole tag together!
