Wedding Invitations - Willie & Kristen

I'd like to share the wedding invitations I did for my son and fiance's wedding coming up.  I had so much fun designing and cutting these invites out.  The gatefold butterfly card I bought from the Silhouette Online Store, you can get the svg version and download now which comes in handy when using with another cutting machine. I had to alter it, the card was square so I changed it to a 5 x 7 and made the cutouts a little thicker, it made it easier to get it off the mat.

The flowers I used for the invitation and envelopes are from a free set I got online called Blue Crush, I designed the invite in Silhouette Studio and printed them out two on an 8 1/5 x 11 110lb Neenah  kraft cardstock called desert storm, nd cut them out manual since it was quicker than using the machine. The envelopes are also Neenah Desert Storm, A7 80lb. The tag and stamped sentiment is from My Creative Time. I cutout 110 of these all on my Brother ScanNCut 2, it did a beautiful job.

Let's Celebrate - My Creative Time Stamp/Die Of The Month

Welcome to a new Stamp/Die of the month from My Creative Time!
Today's project I'm showcasing the...
Let's Celebrate Stamp Set, which is on sale this month!

Since this set is all about party celebrations I thought I'd used the Embossed Gift Card Holder to make a Halloween birthday invitation.  I've been looking through my stash of paper and found this Martha Stewart paper, thought it would look cute for this card.

The Let's Celebration set also comes with this great two piece party die!!
You can make little card magnets so your guest can put the inside invite on their fridge so they don't forget the date.  I used thin magnetic sheets and glued my stamped cardstock to it.

Cool Summer Invitation

A summer party invitation created using digital paper and elements from Carta Bella's Cool Summer collection.  This ice cream cone is awesome, it comes with 4 different color scoops, so cool!  Even the cute little button is from the collection, I just added a touch of Strawberry Cupcake Trendy Twine.  All the pieces were cut using my Silhouette Cameo and SSDE.

Party Invitation

SVG Cuts came out with a 3D Numbers Party kit to match the 3D Letters.  Besides the 3D numbers you get an awesome cupcake box with inserts, party hat, a one piece box and a banner, perfect for a Birthday party, Graduation or any other occasion.  I love making cards and I thought an invitation would go perfectly with this kit, so I took the numbers and the party hat with the flower and created this card.  I also used the word PARTY from the Everyday Cards kit and did a print n cut for the label.  The paper is from Echo Park's Digital Pack Times & Seasons.

Let's Roll

The new kit that svgcuts.com has this week, Summer Blockbuster is perfect for the movie lover. My oldest son, Alfred collects movies so this kit will be perfect for wrapping his dvds. (Click here to check it out.) Here is a card from the kit, instead of using the flap of the card, I glued a piece of paper with a stamped invite to the clapper so when you open the clapper the invite opens too. Right now if you spend $9.98 you get the kit for free, it's a $6.99 value. After spending so much on cricut cartridges I am so happy I found Make the Cut software and SVGCuts website, I so look forward to what Mary and Leo come up with each week and to have the instant gratification of downloading my kits right away. Now I can't wait to get my BossKut Gazelle, should be shipping this month sometime!!

Here it is opened.
